This is the core service offered by us and Vijaya Lakshmi Narasimha Agro Pvt Ltd has expertise in establishing plantations and maintain them. This service is meant for medium size and large size lands (Above 25 acres single bits of land). Many persons own agricultural land but have not time to raise crops let alone manage them. As a result of the absentee landlordism, either the land remains fallow or given on lease at throw away prices. We offer an unique solution in the form of Cultivation as a Service (CAAS) also known as Farming as a Service (FAAS). As part of the service, we offer the following:
- End to End service where in the Land Lord makes investment only and the entire efforts are put in by us to raise the plantation and obtain maximum yield.
- Free survey of land to ascertain suitable crops specific to the land
- Establishment of infrastructure facilities so that the land is ready for the plantation
- Providing plants, especially tissue culture plants which are high yielding and disease resistant
- Conducting operations like digging pits, establishing the plantation, nurturing the plantation
- Pre harvest and Post-harvest management
- Processing of the produce to make it market ready
- Addition in the value chain
Depending on the location, some of the plantations which yield steady income like Oil Palm, Fig, Date Palm, Sandal Wood, Teak etc are suggested by us. Our claims of mortality, yield etc are evidence based and the Land Lords are free to visit existing plantations managed by us before choosing a specific crop before making investment in the crop and infrastructure. The returns would be decent.
For the services rendered by us, We take share in the net income earned by the Land Lord, which varies from crop to crop.
