Vijaya Lakshmi Narasimha Agro Private Limited is established and managed by professionals with wide experience in agriculture and horticulture and allied sector. The Company believes that agriculture is the noblest profession (उत्तम खेती). The novel initiatives of “Cultivation as a Service” and “Farming as a Service” male the Company unique in the agriculture and rural development sector. Apart from earning income from services, the primary motto of the Company is bring in hundreds of thousands of acres of fallow land into cultivation and creation of large scale rural employment with decent income.
The promoters of the Company are committed to all round development of rural areas and at the same time provide an opportunity to land lords who have land but no time to do agriculture. Monetization of the agricultural sector is also one of the goals of the Company so that value of the agricultural land and commodities is unlocked and the farmers get full benefit of their efforts.
The Company offers services anywhere in the World provided that the right size of land holdings are offered by the Land Lords along with investments. The Company provides End-to-End Service of cultivation/farming and would be a partner in the process rather than being an outsider third party. As a cultivator, the Company receives a proportion of the share of agricultural income and does not charge any consultancy fees.
At present the Company is managing hundreds of acres of land in the States of Telangana and Odisha including the lands managed in collaboration with tissue culture experts.
End to End Service
End to End Service is the heart & soul of CAAS or FAAS. This consists of
- Identification of plants suitable for a land
- Creation of infrastructural facilities like fencing, trenches, borewells, electrical connections, sheds, labour quarters and processing units
- Making the land suitable for plantation like levelling, stone removal, ploughing, digging pits for putting the plants
- Supply of plants (mostly high quality tissue culture plants)
- Supply of fertilizers (mainly organic manure), bio-growth agents, pesticides (preferably organic) preferably through micro-fertigation methods
- 24X7 farm management including watering, weeding, training and pruning
- Expert visits to prevent pests, diseases and ensuring healthy growth
- Harvesting
- Packing
- Marketing
